Why
should I use Sell & Ship when I can do it myself?
Because of the volume of
transactions we've handled, our Power Seller status and high
feedback rating, buyers have additional confidence in bidding
on items we list. We handle all the details, not
just the auction listing, professionally photographing and
graphically laying out and wording your ad. We handle
all email, phone inquiries bank settlements, feedback and package, deliver and ship your
sold items.
How
much is my item worth?
We don't act as appraisers and
therefore we don't determine a value for items we list on our
clients behalf. We believe that by making your items
available via online auctions and starting your bidding low, that you'll attract more people to view and bid on the
goods. The more that view the auction, the more likely they'll bid against each other.
The result is that you'll get the maximum amount the market
will bear, or the "fair market value", in real time, of your
item. Of course, you are free to have
your item appraised by others familiar with comparable items
worth and specify a reserve, or minimum amount, that you will
sell your item for.
Who
takes care of shipping?
One of the greatest advantages
of using us is that we take care of everything for you.
You need not worry about getting your item delivered; we'll
package and ship it for you! Buyer's generally pay for
the shipping expenses and can specify the carrier (UPS, FedEx,
USPS, or others) of their choice. Insurance is available
to the buyers at their discretion and is recommended.
When
do I get paid?
Just as soon as your item is
paid for and we've received confirmation of delivery and
feedback from the buyer, we put the wheels in motion to issue
you a check. We issue payment checks each month.
Most auctions last for 7 days and we need to give buyers a few
days to make arrangement for payment settlements.
Generally, it's reasonable to expect this process will take a
month or more. |
